Ikon True Russian Vodka Declines To Bid on Sale of Absolut Vodka

Ikon True Russian Vodka has issued a statement to counter several seconds of frenzied speculation by Russian vodka lovers; they will not bid in the upcoming auction of Absolut Vodka by the Swedish Government. Svetlana Zanko, vice Chairwoman of Ikon True Russian Vodka stated earlier today from her office in Kirov , Russia that Ikon True Russian Vodka would not be participating in the Absolut Vodka auction. Zanko said “we can not entertain a purchase of a vodka company which we absolutely have never heard of. With the plethora of vodkas on the market; it would be an up hill challenge to launch an unknown vodka from Sweden , when every vodka lover knows true vodka is always True Russian Vodka.” The vice chairwoman went on to state that she wishes the new fledgling company well and hopes that they are successfully bought.
